      <image:caption>The benefits of a regular or even daily movement practice can include a reduction in physical tension, better focus, more grounded energy and establishing a connection to your breathing that you can take into your day. I created this short sequence to support you to move with the breath more regularly and not have to think about what postures to do. Do this 12 minute session as often as you like or feasibly can, preferably in the morning, but any time is ok.  Notice any effects on how you feel, knowing that sometimes we experience more than at other times.  As a little challenge, try 40 continuous days of practice and journal as you go. A little practice on a regular basis can make a big difference to how you feel.</image:caption>

The regular activities we attend to during the day cause the head to tilt forwards, forcing neck muscles to hold on tight. It can be hard to shift this tension without a trip to the osteopath. Regular attention to problem areas through yoga can help prevent this build up. Yoga also helps you become more self-aware, so you notice your posture more often and can then adjust.
